  M.E illness amongst jehovahs witnesses?

  i have always wondered why so many jws i knew suffered from the illness "m.e" previous to being a jw i never heard of this illness but when joining the borg i noticed noticed so many jws saying all of a sudden they had m.e maybe its a jw disease trend.

  anyhow what does m.e stand for.. haujobbz

  Loads of depression, ME, IBS and even schizophrenia in the congs. I was in.
  
  Personally, I suffered from regular migraines, but since leaving I have not had a single migraine!!
  Must be the stress in the Org. I think.

  at age 18, i was a regular pioneer.

  at 20, a ministerial servant.

  at 24 an elder.

  I made it to reg. pioneer (before they reduced the hours from 90 to 70).
  Hubby got to ministerial servant.
  Kids got to unbaptised publishers.
  Now we've all made it to FREEDOM and happiness!!

  Snowed in again !

  we're snowed in for the second day running.

  trouble is, none of us saw the weather forecast and now we've got hardly any milk or bread!

  (i couldn't get this site to work yesterday, either, so i couldn't cheer myself up.

  We've had around 6 inches here. It's still coming down thick and fast! The forecast for today was mainly dry and bright!!
  It's very picturesque here in our woods, though.
  I've sent Hubby & Kids trudging through it to go and find some provisions.(Not the TESCO!!!! Can't stand Tesco).
  You're right I think, Sad emo, we had a fall yesterday of a few inches which froze. Now the fresh snow looks safe to walk in, but under it is this icy layer. I'm staying in!!
  Avidbiblereader, we do get a fair amount of rain here in Wales, but at least you can still get out in it.

  Wish Me Well: Surgery Tomorrow

  well, i did my best with physical therapy but it's not enough.

  my knee is very unstabile (especially since i fell again 6 weeks ago).

  tomorrow i'm scheduled for knee surgery to repair my acl..

  (I couldn't get this site to work yesterday, either, so I couldn't cheer myself up.)
  
  On the positive side, the kids and I have built a huge snowman in the garden and played loads of boardgames etc and just had fun!!
  
  How on earth do you folks cope, who have snow (and a lot deeper than this), regularly?

  Name "UNWRITTEN" Rules That JWs Are Supposed To Follow

  as with the scribes and pharisees, there are a number of unwritten rules that witnesses are supposed to follow.

  here's a couple : "worldly" kids in society depictions are shown quite often wearing their baseball caps backwards.

  jehovah's witness youths would not want to imitate that "look".
